Here’s one of two official videos for Yves Klein Blue’s About The Future. The video shows more of lead singer Michael Tomlinson then ever before. In fact, he’s completely naked in it. Says Michael of his decision to strip off, “Making this video was an attempt to convey what it was like to write the song: a process of grief that forced me to strip away everything, be completely honest with myself. To be naked was the only way I felt I could visually represent the inspiration for this song. Tom Slater directed it. I called him at midnight and we did it the next day. It was quite surreal, all of us standing around naked.” A second video for About The Future will be released next week. Yves Klein Blue will be heading out on the massive “About The Future” National Tour next month, with Melbourne’s Corner Hotel show already sold out.
